Gundam/Gunpla models are snap fit meaning they do not require any paint or glue!
Our recommendation would be the humble “Nipper”, or side cutter - they are the hobbyists bread and butter and the only tool you need to build just about any Gunpla kit.
There are other tools that are Invaluable for model building, these Include a craft knife (aka hobby knife), sand paper of various grits, files, hobby mat, tweezer, etc.
